Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
IFS Therapy is a gentle yet powerful way of exploring the many layers of your inner world and the "parts" you have within.
In IFS, parts are seen as different aspects of your inner world, each with its own feelings, thoughts, and ways of showing up. Some parts protect you, some carry pain or past trauma, and others hold emotions like anger, fear, or sadness. Every part has a positive intention, even if its behaviour sometimes feels unhelpful.
In our sessions, we will get to know these parts with curiosity, care, and compassion, helping you reconnect with your Self, the calm, steady, and wise place within. From this place, you can notice old patterns with greater understanding, allow difficult emotions to be held safely, and begin to cultivate a sense of clarity, balance, and inner peace.
In this way of working, I hold deep respect for your inner wisdom, and we may use imagery, metaphors, or creative movement to help your parts be seen and understood.
Many people find that IFS sessions really make sense once they’ve experienced the process. If you’d like to know more, I’d be happy to talk you through what it's like to experience an IFS session.

Person-Centred Therapy
In Person-Centred Therapy sessions, I offer a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and relationships (with yourself and others).
You’ll set the pace of our sessions, and we’ll explore what’s coming up for you in the here and now (like any thoughts, imagery, metaphors, dreams, or movement you notice), as well as your past experiences.
Person-centred therapy is a creative process, and the experience differs for everyone. It can be a relief to share long-buried feelings or helpful to have a space to talk that is free of judgement. Some may find a few sessions helpful, while others might choose to continue for longer.
In this work, the therapeutic relationship (between the client and counsellor) becomes a container for exploring how we relate to others, healing relational wounds, and a space to look at things which might feel too big to look at on our own.
Together, we will connect with the resources you already hold within, helping you nurture your self-worth, manage any stress and anxiety you're experiencing, navigate past challenges, and build deeper connections.
