My approach

My practice is built on inclusivity and openness and is welcoming to people of all races, bodies, genders, sexualities, relationship constellations, abilities, and beliefs. I appreciate the uniqueness of each person and their experiences, embracing a non-pathologising approach.
I’m mindful that the world around us shapes our experiences, and I create space for you to explore the different intersections of your identity. My approach is queer and trans-affirmative, and I often work with people from the LGBTQ+ community. I am culturally aware and my practice is grounded in kindness, compassion, and respect for all.

I also take a holistic approach - seeing and honouring the whole person. Considering both the body and the mind can be helpful for those whose bodies are a place of anxiety (for those experiencing change, physical illness, or low self-confidence, to name but a few).

I integrate relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices into the way I work, as well as mindfulness, philosophy, creativity, somatic awareness, and neurolinguistics. Jungian concepts (like how we experience our dreams) also weave their way into my practice. I am deeply fascinated by archetypes, mythology, folklore, and our connections to land and place.

My work as both a therapist and a client has shown me the magic and power of paying attention to the present moment and how understanding who you are—and how you relate to the world—empowers you to make choices that lead to a more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling life.
