Sessions
Sessions may include talking, mindfulness, and exploring the habitual patterns in your thoughts and feelings. We might also dive into metaphors, dreams, imagery, or how your body feels to gain insight into your experience.
Together, we’ll explore what’s showing up in your world, what you’d like to be different and how. I am an encouraging therapist who aims to challenge you.
In my practice, I create space for intersections of identity and work affirmatively with gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. I am aware that the world around us shapes our experiences, and I believe in the holistic connection between the mind, body, and the world surrounding us—including the cultures, lands and places that shape our lives.
I am deeply fascinated by philosophy, archetypes, mythology, and spirituality. Ideas from neuroscience, Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, neurolinguistics, existential philosophy, and Jungian concepts (like how we experience our dreams) also weave their way into my practice.
I welcome anyone looking for short or long-term sessions, whether you are arriving with a specific situation you’d like to talk through or are looking to better understand yourself or your identity. We will work together in a structured way for as long as you need, with regular check-ins to keep us on the right path.
